~ Tea Party Incident ~

The girls where playing tea party the other day, all was fine then I heard Macy crying :'(

She walks in like this with her tongue out....her tongue was stuck in the lid of the tea pot. Sad but funny :) She flexed her tongue and it popped right off!

~ 1st Piggy Tail ~

Kennedy likes to sit in my salon chair just like the 2 other girls. She finally got her chance today to have her hair done. I know it isn't much hair but we will take what we get.

~ 100 Days of School ~

Karlee had to come up with a 100 items to bring in for the 100th day of school project. Blake and her worked together and came up with 100 screws which they screwed into a pipe. Karlee decorated it very well.

I was invited to come and watch them present there projects. GREAT JOB KARLEE!

SPLAT!!

You would think that this little yellow paint splat is no big deal right? Well,to 3 little girls it is a BIG DEAL!!!! They each want to stand or sit on it during Story Time. The Library has rotated the rug so the splat isn't right in front of the teacher anymore. But they still insist on sitting the Paint Splat.
Out of all the ABC's these 3 little girls want to stand or sit on THAT paint splat.

We have even tried to have them each sit on the letter of there name "K", "M" & "N". They are right in front of the teacher when they each sit on there own letter.

Here is a Picture of "K", and "M". "N" didn't want to be in the picture. They didn't fight over it today because "S" was sitting on it already.

Somethings Missing...

She has been waiting for this day for a REALLY long time. Her tooth has been ready to come out for about 2 weeks so Blake finally used the paper towel trick and it came right out. Karlee didn't even know it had been pulled until Blake showed her. ( BIG SMILE) I asked her how much the Tooth Fairy is going to leave for her tonight and her response was $6 because she is 6. Sadly she only left $1 with a note. :) She was still very excited knowing that the T.F. had "payed" her a visit.

We are so proud of Karlee and her 2 special awards she received. One was for Math and the other was for Art! Her artwork was displayed at the District office for the month of Nov.. She is LOVING 1st Grade and we are so pleased to see her doing so well!!!

Doctor visits are never any fun :(. Most of the time we leave with someone crying. On this Doctor visit they got a total of 7 shots and 2 finger pokes and blood drawn. When I made the appointment the receptionist asked if I'd like to do them the same day...I thought that was a great idea instead of having to come back in a couple of weeks for another check up. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!! It was awful, I went alone so I had 2 VERY upset girls and they both wanted held and comforted at the same time. We made it trough it and we know now for next time to do 1 check-up at a time. Macy insisted we still go to the Library afterwards to.

I am pretty proud of this cake I made. But I am still not ever going to be a baker. I will stick to doing what I do BEST!!! We all know what that is RIGHT?!?!

My 3 LADIES, the older 2 were very helpful with opening the presents for Baby Sister.

She picked out this push, jingling toy all by herself. She was VERY upset when we had to take it away to put her in her car seat!! But very happy when she got to play with it at home.

It's only SNOW

I am a Idaho Girl. I lived there until I was 25 and I would say I am comfortable with snow for the most part. But the People in SC are terrified of it! :) Karlee's school cancelled school everyday this week due to the weather. When I was in school we would pray that we could have a snow day...needless to say we only got a snow day once every 5 years?!?

Since it doesn't snow here very often the city doesn't know how to deal with snow. One of the more scary things that happens here is when we get Freezing Rain, the roads are awful then. Stores were closed, free-ways were shut down, school closed....even MC Donald's was CLOSED. ( now that was a shock, they are never closed ;))

WE all enjoyed playing in the snow again this year.

Our family was excited to see all the snow we got this year ( it only lasted 2-3 days).

My parents flew out from Idaho to visit this year. We had them for a hole 2 weeks!! It was sad to see them go but hopefully we will see them soon.

Our family tradition is that the girls get to open 1 gift on Xmas Eve (pj's).

Macy wanted to have a Ballet Birthday this year. A friend who takes Ballet showed the party guests a few ballet moves after each girl made her very own tu-tu.

My baby girl is now 6 months old...weighing 17lbs 12oz and 27inches!! She's a Whopper :)

My Big girl is now 6!! Little Sis. is next 2 her wanting to blow out her candles.

Baby Girl was finally blessed on June 6th. She was 4 1/2 months old at the time and I was a little worried she wouldn't fit in her dress being the whopper she is :o). She wasn't very happy with the way the dress felt. My sisters and I were all blessed in this dress so the fabric is very old and rough feeling.

This picture is more like a 4 1/2 months picture. I was late taking it because I was in Idaho for 2 weeks helping my mom recover. Kennedy is a whopping 16 lbs 5 oz and 24 1/2 inches long!! She has really beefed up these past few weeks, even Blake noticed that she had put on some pounds while we were away. What can I say the girl likes her mama's CrEaM!!!!

"Egg Drop"

I know Easter has come and gone but Karlee's class did what they call an "Egg Drop" this past week. Each child had to make some kind of object that holds an egg so it wont crack when it is dropped of the schools roof (I let Blake handle this homework assignment). This is what the 2 of them came up with:

They used a swimming tube and a pair of the girls tights to put the egg in. They taped the legs of the tights to the tube. Then used tent poles and a trash bag to make a parachute. Karlee named it her rocket (even though rockets go up and not down it was still cute). Do you think her egg "broke ", "cracked", or "survived"?

Her egg did survive she was so proud when she came home from school to tell us the result. The ROCKET worked!!!

We had a beautiful Easter this year. The weather was perfect the food was great and the spirit of Easter Sunday was AWESOME!!!

The sun was so bright that they wanted to wear there sun glasses so they could see me while taking pictures.

Kennedy even got an egg during the Easter Egg Hunt.

This year for Easter we had the activities of Easter be on Saturday with the hole Easter Bunny stuff and on Sunday we had the more spiritual side of Easter.

Little Miss Kennedy is already 2 months old. We just got home from her Doctor check up and she has grown so much in the past month. She is 10 lbs 10 oz (50%), 22 3/4 inches long (50-75%). She can hold her head up and smile and she even makes noises at us. We are looking forward to see what she can do this next month.

We had a Fantastic Halloween this year.....Karlee went as Silvermist ( Tinkerbell movie).

Macy of course was Tinkerbell....we had a little trouble with the hair coloring. I swear the can was yellow but it was green when we started spraying it on her hair.

My wonderful Husband was such a good Daddy this year. He dressed up as Peter Pan W/ TIGHTS!!! :) I had a little trouble getting the tights green so Blake took a can of green spray paint to the tights outside...he's so resourceful.

Some people thought he was Robin Hood, but he had glitter all over him for pixie dust.

I was Wendy this year but I was busy taken pictures of my family. I am sure u r all dieing to see a Pregnant Wendy ;).

Mr. Mom

Blake has been an amazing Mr. Mom these past few day's. I came down with the flu or something last week and it put me out for 4 DAYS!!! Being pregnant didn't help at all because when u are pregnant and don't eat it only makes it worse. Anyways Blake stepped up to the plate and stayed home from work for half of Thursday and all day Friday. I know the girls loved having him home to play with. I have married a fabulous man that cooks, cleans, washes and folds clothes.....I could go on. He could totally take my place any day and wouldn't have any problems because he knows what to do. I know he was grateful when Monday came around so he could get back to his regular job.

Thanks Babe for all your help with the little woman....U R the BOMB!!!

Lunch Date

Today Karlee asked if we'd come and eat lunch with her at school. Her school loves to have family come and eat with the students. It was more like brunch because her class eats at 10:30!! Blake and the girls enjoyed tasty Corn Dogs while I ate Taco Salad. We sat by 4 other kids and they talked more than they ate, which is usual for 5 year old to do :) Macy also spilled her strawberry milk all over Blake's pants :) the kids sure thought it was funny. Good Times...

3 Little GIRLS

Our family will be welcoming our 3rd little girl into our family on Jan. 12th 2010! We found out today that we are expecting another girl. I have waited to post our BIG announcement until we knew what we were having. Karlee was hoping for a brother but she said..."mom, maybe next time." We are so excited about adding another child to our family. Both girls got to come with us to the Doc. appointment to find out the sex of the baby. Macy didn't pay to much attention to the screen, she enjoyed looking at the nemo fish on the wall. Blake is greatly out numbered now :) poor guy maybe next time.

That day has arrived when my little girl left to conquer the world of Kindergarten. It was very hard for me to let her go knowing I wouldn't see her for 7 hours and 15mins (they do all day kindergarten here)...but who's counting right?? I had my game face on all morning while she was preparing to get ready for her BIG day. When I woke her up at 6:30 the first thing she said was "Mom, its still dark outside". I wanted to tell her to lay back down and sleep until the sun came up. But she rolled out of bed with a huge smile on her face asking if I'd help her get ready. ( It makes me so happy that she still wants me to help her with SOME things) I wanted to make her a special breakfast for her but she insisted on only having cereal, that was just fine with me. After she was all dressed and ready her Dad gave her a wonderful Father's Blessing to start off her new school year. It was such a special moment. During it I had to hold the tears back and keep that game face on. She gave her Daddy a Big Squeeze and a Kiss on the cheek and said her good-byes to him, then we were off to the BIG school. I could tell she started to get a little nervous as we were getting closer to the school. I told her to remember that we live only 7 blocks from the school so I wont be far away, and I would be back to get her after school....Her Big smile returned after that.

The Big Drop Off....

We pulled up and a teacher opened the door for her and the first thing the teacher said was "WOW!, look at your big smile :)" I knew right then that she felt safe with the people at her school. Karlee came over to me and gave me one last hug and kiss and said Good-bye to me and off she went. I waved and started to drive off. Oh Man, who opened the flood gates? I thought I was strong but I felt as if she wasn't my little girl anymore. ( I'm such a Baby) I had to pull myself together before I got home because I knew Blake would be there and would see me crying. It just never helps when u are upset and someone asks you "are u ok?" Do u know what I mean? Anyways...I really wanted to keep myself busy that day so I had a woman that wanted high-lites done that morning and another haircut that afternoon. But 2:35 didn't come fast enough.

I waited in the Car pool line for a half hour until I was able to get her. She was still smiling when she got in the car. She did have a little accident on the playground but she got through it. So we went and got a special treat that she wanted and she told me all about her 1st day in Kindergarten. Both grandparents wanted to be called and told all the events of her day.

I am glad Karlee is excited for school and I know that letting the first one go is the hardest but her teacher prepared a Parent Survival Kit it included :

Tissue: to dry those tears, the children's and yours.

Cotton Ball: To remind you of the gentle spirit of your child.

Puzzle Piece: to remind you that you are the most important piece in you child's journey through life.

Hershey's Hugs and Kisses: for when you've given all of yours away and you need some back.

Rubber Band: to remind you to stretch and grow with your children.

Eraser: to remind us that everyone starts each day with a clean slate.

Isn't that the cutest thing you have ever heard of? Macy enjoyed the eating the chocolate pieces. I have made it through 1 day of school so far and I am hoping that it gets easier as the days go.

We are ALIVE :)

We are alive for those of you that have asked...just very busy. Our summer is coming to an end soon so we are tiring to enjoy every last day of it. Blake has been busy remodeling a house here for a family in our Ward. Also he was so excited to get his Truck running that has been sitting for a year due to the heads getting blown in the engine ( I think that's what happened??).

I feel like I have been so busy but when it comes time to tell what I have been up to I feel like I have accomplished nothing...Do any of you ever feel that way?? Anyways, I know I have busy with Karlee and getting her ready to go to Kindergarten. Also the families in the ward always keep me busy with haircuts and colors so they can look good when they go back to school, which I love!

Karlee is sad to see the summer go but she knows she gets to go to Kindergarten in a few days. I am nervous about sending her off to school since this is my first one leaving. Schools here have all day Kindergarten so she will go at 7:40ish and finish at 2:40ish. She is very excited to learn and make new friends at her new school.

Macy's had her ups and downs these past few weeks, she is such a strong and brave little girl. She got an infection on her bum last weekend and got it got really bad really fast, so we took her in to the doc. to have it looked at. Her doc. said that it needed to be surgically drained!! :( That afternoon we took her to a surgeon so he could decide when to do it... 1 hour later we were at the hospital awaiting surgery. The Surgery only took about 20-25mins and they made 2 incisions on her bum so it could drain....they packed the inside of the incision with medication to help it heal from the inside. I stayed with her at the Hospital that night and we got to return home the next morning. It is always hard to see your children suffering but thanks to a worthy husband that holds the priesthood he is always able to comfort us.

Macy is doing great now, we have to pull out 3 inches of the medicated gaze twice a day and I don't have the stomach to do it so Blake is the one with the iron stomach one so he is able to do it. Other than all of our ups and down with everything we are still very much alive here and hope that all is Fabulous with you and your Families :)

Karlee is officially 5 years old. We had all her little buds from Primary over for her Hello Kitty water party.....

This cake was so de-lish!!! I didn't make it but my wonderful friend with mad skills made it. Thanks Cara :)

We have a pretty good size hill in our front yard that made a great water slide after a slip-n-slide was put on it.

Even Blake's twin Brother's little boy went down... he's a mad man and he's only 1!!

Little Update....

I am not doing a very good job at keeping up with a weekly post. Sorry Grandparents :( . But we are a healthy and happy!!! Blake is still busy as ever with work and his scouts. He got the front end of the Tahoe fixed this past week and he did it all in 1 afternoon I was truly amazed. He is truly a gifted man with many skills ( luv u Babe). He is also in charge of the Father/Son Camp out this Friday which means its Girls Night Out this weekend YIPPEE!!!

I have been busy with haircuts and helping at Karlee's school and Primary stuff, and making sure that the house is cleaned for the clients to come and look at the house. I guess that's the life of a mother :).....I am not complaining.

Karlee is getting ready to celebrate the BIG #5 this weekend. She is having a water party with all her little buddies. She will be done with pre-school this week and isn't really looking forward to Kindergarten yet, she said she wants to stay in her school that she is in now.

Macy is still my big helper, she is always by my side. I can see in her already that she is a clean kid which I love, but it is all a scary thing. She is finally starting to talk like a big girl, it really hasn't helped with an older sister that does all the talking for her.

We are having a Soccer Social at our house on Tuesday for all the Team. I think all the parents and us included are really glad that the season is over. I know all the kids had a great time and they all get there very own trophy with there names on it.

We are also planning a family trip to Idaho the end of June!! Blake's Brother is coming home from his mission in Peru (P-U is where Karlee says he is). We are looking forward to seeing family and friends.

Madness at the Mouser's

It feels like it has been forever since I have written a post, even though it has only been a week and a half. Our Family has been very busy with visitors, soccer games, strawberry picking and car accidents!!!! Here are a few pictures for u 2 c :

Blakes parents from Idaho came to visit for a few days. The girls were so excited to have them come. We all enjoy there visit and it was sad to see them go after such a short visit.

More soccer games....Yippeee!!!! It is starting to get hotter outside here so the poor kids are sweating as they are playing. Good thing the games are only 45 mins long.

We needed a new picture with Papa and Grammy. The girls look so fabulous in there "puppo" (Macy's way of saying purple) dresses Grammy got them.

We have never been strawberry picking before. So while Blake's parents were he we all decided to go for it and try it out. It was awesome to watch all the kids pick strawberries. They ate them instead of putting them in the basket. I think they ate $3.00 worth of strawberries all together. Then we went to pay for them and all the kids has red strawberry juice all over there faces. I am sure the lady sees red faces all the time :).......good times.

We had a great Easter this year....

Grandparents always send a package full of treats and toys for the girls :)The Primary held a Easter Egg Hunt for the kids at the park. Before they got to find eggs they told a story to the children to help them remember what Easter is all about.

I think we hid like 200-300 eggs so the children all found a ton of eggs.

The little woman loved there Easter dresses, they saw me making the bows for them. Karlee asked how I new what color to make the bows since the Easter Bunny brings them there dresses. I had to be quick and told her that the Easter bunny asked me to make your bows because he didn't have time to make all the girls bows so he needed my help.... sorry about the picture not showing all of it, I don't know what happened to it :(

Clothing Designer during Confrence ; )

During the 2 hour break between Conference on Saturday I finally started on the skirt I have been tiring to make for Macy. First thing....I am not a sewer....people think I am but I am not. I like to just wing it and start cutting and sewing. I was only going to make a jean skirt but I had enough leftover material for a shirt too. This is the completed outfit :)

As I started to cut and sew I needed Macy to try them on but she was napping so...Karlee to the rescue. When she tired on the skirt it almost fell off of her so this then became Karlee's outfit. ( Macy will get it when Karlee grows out of it). The fabric that I had cut for a shirt for Macy wouldn't fit Karlee so I had to add some fabric in the front and the X ribbon for effect.

While working at Old Navy a shirt came in for the girls department and for the sleeves it had ribbon tied in a bow. I thought I could do that and plus it looked really cute.

Karlee wanted to keep it on for the rest of the day. That showed me that she liked it and it was comfortable for her. She was a good little Model for me while taking pictures :).

Every outfit has to have a bow with it. I had only enough ribbon to make one. I think this sewing stuff is pretty easy, I get all confused if I am using a pattern : ) Plus I had a great mom that was always sewing us Easter Dresses and Stuffed Care Bears when we were little. Love U mom U taught me how to be a ?????? Sewer ;) . ( U can fill in the ??????)

6 Years have gone by so fast for us. But it all started when.......Blake and I met in our college ward in Rexburg. I first noticed him, he was in charge of our ward Talent Show one night ... He was so funny, and cute up there:). Anyways a friend of mine new him and she told him he should come into the salon I worked at to get a hair cut. He finally came in a few weeks later and he asked me out for the next day. We went to Applebee's with his twin brother and his wife and baby. 2 weeks later we started dating . 2 months later he purposed to me in front of the IF Temple. 5 months later we were married in the IF Temple for Time and all Eternity on April 4, 2003. That was the happiest day of our lives...(other than the birth of our girls)... We are so blessed to have found each other and have the same goals in life.

Karlee is playing soccer this year!!! Blake has been wanting Karlee to play soccer for as long as I can remember. Blake is also coaching her team too. Its so hilarious to watch 4 and 5 year olds running back and forth in a big group. They are always tripping over each other. There is only one other girl on the team so they both have to work hard to keep up with the boys.

We got Karlee her own PINK soccer ball that she gets to take to her practices. Her and Mikaili take turns playing and scoring goals with the ball. Each player got to pick there own number on there uniforms and Karlee picked #1. She told Blake that she picked 1 because she is number 1.

They had there first game this week and won. They don't really keep score or anything but one of the parents said they won so....Yeah!! There are 9 kids on the team and they each take there turn being the goalie. I think Karlee plays the best there, she likes to pick up the ball. At the first practice she got her hand kicked by one of the other players because she went and picked up the ball...OUCH!!! But she was ok and went on playing....She's a RUFF and TUFF GiRl :)

As much as I want Karlee to be a girly girl I am thinking she is going to be all about sports....Just like her Daddy!!!

Wet 'N' Wild WEEKEND

We were blessed with beautiful weather this weekend in SC. All of us enjoyed being outside working together. We have yet to plant any thing in our yard. Karlee really wanted to plant some flowers, she has been asking for awhile now. Karlee and Macy got to pick out some flowers that they liked from Home Depot.

Karlee found some mini pots that were just her size!! We didn't find any single flowers that we could plant in them. We will still look for some so they can plant them in there mini pots.

This is the end result with every ones flowers they picked out. Karlee picked out the purple ones of course. Macy liked the red fluffy ones (Sorry, I cant remember the names of the flowers).

After all our hard work the girls wanted to get wet on the trampoline. This is one of there favorite summer actives to do outside. I remember doing this as a kid. We would put the sprinkler under the tramp with it turned on!! oh yeah! The good old days :)

Chilling out with a popsicles. It was so hot that the popsicles were melting before they ate them. Sticky Mess.... they didn't mind, they went and rinsed off on the tramp!

They had a long fun day! Full of flower planting, family, fun :)

I found a lump on my neck one day and I was very worried that it was a tumor or something. So I went in to get it checked out. My Doctor ran some tests and it came back as a nodule on my thyroid that needed to be removed.
A month or so later I had surgery to have it removed and half of my thyroid. I didn't know it then but I guess Thyroid problems run in my family. (Yippee!) But everything went wonderful and now all I have to do is take a small pill every morning.

I had to go back in a few days later to get half the stitches removed. It felt so strange when the nurse was cutting the thread and pulled it out.

This is what my scar looks like today. I was so worried when my doctor told me how big the incision was going to be but I am very happy that you can barely see it now.

I was going through some pictures on my camera and I came across this one of my sweet girlies. They were getting ready for bed a few weeks ago and they were being so adorable reading a story together. I couldn't resist taking a picture of them.

I know that some days are difficult being a parent but I think that is why we have camera's so we can look back a pictures during those frustrating times and be able to see these sweet pictures of our girls and remember the moment that we shared together.

It sure makes those frustrating times a little easier to get through.

The letter Q Snack

This was all I could find that started with the letter Q. Both of my girls really love these rice snacks. Macy would eat them all day if I let her. If you have never tired them I highly recommend that you do. They come in a ton of different kinds. The popcorn one is our FAV. !!!!

Karlee was so excited about getting to bring a Snack to school. She kept reminding me that it had to start with the letter Q.

I thought the kids might like a sweet snack as well. It didn't start with a Q but the brand is Quaker. It works!!!

OK this is my problem, at Karlee's preschool they have the students take turns bringing snacks to school. Well that treat has to start with the letter Q! I think its a great idea for them to do this but some of the letters are a little hard to buy for. The teachers like the snack to start with the same letter they are learning that week. I was thinking Quaker granola bars??? But any ideas you have would greatly be appreciated....thanks!!

SnOw in South Carolina?!?!

Surprise!!! There is snow on the ground!!! They even cancelled school today due to the snow. Isn't that crazy? Man, when I was in school we had school even when it snowed a foot or more. These people in the South just aren't used to this kind of weather.

It was quite a shock for us to see snow outside. Macy was pretty surprised. She had never seen snow before.

Macy was calling the snow ice. "Ice mama, ICE?" I would then say no Mace its snow can you say snow? She would just say, No?? (Close enough, no - snow)

Karlee was tiring to make a snowman. She asked if I'd get a carrot and some rocks for eyes. But her heart was broken when it didn't work out. We need a little bit more snow to make it work.

That's all the snow we received.

We thought we had moved away from the snow but I guess it followed us here. To bad it wont last long.

These pictures were taken about 4 years ago. I found them in a photo album yesterday and wanted to do a Shout-Out to them. When I saw these it makes me miss them even more.
Jana is my oldest sister she is in the green shirt. She has 2 boys and cuts hair as well. They flew out to SC to see us this past summer. It was great to see them.
Jennifer is in the purple shirt and she has a little boy and a little girl. She is getting ready to start back up in college! (u go girl) It's been about 2 years since I have seen her and her kids!! I hope we get to see them sooner than later!!

This is a picture of A.J. the best Brother! As you can see from the picture he is always making us laugh. He tiring to finish up college right now and he is looking for a HoT Woman! I hope he doesn't kill me for writing that! ;)

Karlee LoVeS Hannah Montana...

Karlee has a friend from church that has introduced to her Hannah Montana. So now whenever we hear her songs in the car or a shirt in a store with her picture on it Karlee goes nuts. So Karlee asked for a Hannah Montana guitar for Christmas. She has been playing us music and singing us songs ever sense.

The guitar came with a head microphone too but it didn't last to long with a little sister playing with it.

This microphone is pretty cool the way it works. It works through the radio. You have to find the right station and then you can hear yourself talking on the radio. Pretty Sweet!!!!

The hole gang (and a Burger King's hat) at Patriots Point in Charleston. There you get to walk around a Aircraft Carrier and a Coast Guard ship and also a Submarine. While there it makes you think about all those many people who have served this country. I am truly grateful to all those who have made that sacrifice. U R WONDERFUL!!!

I found the girls sitting together on a chair watching cartoons while we were tiring to get ready to go to the Airport. Kids sure do the sweetest things. Too CuTe!!!!

Our count down finally had ended for Gpa and Gma's visit. We went and picked them up at the airport and Karlee couldn't stop smiling she was so excited to see them.

Macy and Grandpa became buddies while they were here. (I didn't get any pic.'s of them together) I think Macy just new that Gpa was the one with all the good treats. She was always shouting out "PA-PA" wanting to know where he was.

Karlee really missed her Grandma she held her hand all the way to the car and couldn't stop saying Grandma....Grandma......Grandma. She was always sitting with Gma or by her in some way. She just LOVES you Mom!!!!

This was too sweet...While at Patriots Point Macy got to ride on Daddy's shoulders. She enjoyed very min. of it.

Karlee enjoyed her new camera she got from Santa. She had to show Grandma all the pictures she has taken. Most of the pictures are of the floor, table cloth and stairs. But she is learning.

The girls and I took Gma to Ed Venture ( kids museum) to show her around. I think she had a blast on the motorcycle what do u think.....?

Karlee's Xmas Program

Karlee has been talking all week about her program and how hard they have worked on it. It turned out wonderful, her music teacher even taught them special little hand movements too. It was so cute they looked like little Jesus praiser's with there hands in the air saying "hallelujah"!!!!

Her pre-school class sang there Christmas songs so well. They even had bells to shake. I wasn't even thinking when I helped her get dressed that morning, all the little girls there had there Christmas dresses on and Karlee said mom how come I don't have my Christmas dress on?( Well at least you could find her easily in the crowd) Needless to say I sure messed up on that one. Sorry, Sissy.

Macy's Birthday!!

Macy loves cupcakes...wait let me re-fraze that...Macy loves the frosting on cupcakes. Every Birthday I think to myself that I should just give them a bowl of frosting and a spoon. Anyways she was so happy with every gift and her little expressions were priceless. Oh my baby is already 2!!

It took her a few tries to get those candles blown out, I think she spit a little to get that last one out. Yummy :)!

Family and Friends,

This year our family has been through exciting times and hard times. But with every tear and smile we are still a Eternal Family and we can get through anything.

Blake is still as busy as ever building houses with his brother. He had ruff birthday this year due to the falling economy. He was laid off on his birthday from America's Home Place. Which was a very big surprise to all of us. But with that it has brought many other blessing to our family. He built us a beautiful home this year with his own hands. He did such a wonderful job on every detail. He is also busy with his YM and camp outs with his Scouts.

I am staying just as busy being a mom and making people feel more irresistible with new haircuts. I am just starting to working part time at OLD NAVY and I hope I bring home a paycheck and don't spend it all at the store. I am still in the Primary as the Secretary and I just love the wonderful women I get to work with. (luv u guys!) The girls and I got to make a trip Idaho this summer to see family, we had a blast seeing everyone but we know that our home now is in South Carolina. We are still adjusting to the warm winter's I still find myself putting sweater's on the girls in Dec. and it's 70 outside. I will get better at it sooner or later.

Karlee is my Fabulous Four year old. She is now in a church pre-school that she attends 5 days a week for a few hours a day. She just loves arts and crafts, everyday she comes home and asks if we can do a craft. She also likes to add her artistic mark to the walls of the house. Her 2 teachers are amazing they truly are teaching a sponge that soaks everything in. Karlee is very excited for Christmas this year she knows that Gpa and Gma are coming soon after.

Macy is my Terrific Two year old (almost). She will be 2 on Dec. 18th. She is my helper all day from washing clothes to washing dishes. Macy is such a snuggler and daddy and I just love it! She is starting to get her own little personality and she lets us know when we are doing things wrong. She is a big fan of her babies, she is such a good mama to all 5 of them. She has one little buddy at nursery that she plays with and explores with.

Our family hope's this letter finds all of you well and happy this Holiday Season and we Love and Miss Ya'll ( south talk for ya!).

Cinnamon Ornaments

Crafty Karlee was so happy to have her friends over to make the special ornaments. As you can see Macy was tiring to help her big sis paint hers.

Macy was so excited at first but then when it came time to sit on his lap she was not interested.

Here's my sweet big girl, she knows that if she doesn't sit on Santa's lap and tell him what she wants for Christmas she wont be getting anything from him.

Sensational Snow Globes

We are missing the snow this time of year. So we decided to make mini snow globes to see if that would fill that void in our Christmas. It isn't the same as the real thing but we did a fun making them. They are a little leaky but the memories that we made while making them with last forever!

Karlee was so proud of her snow globe she made. She even remembered when the picture was taken (the first day of pre-school).

If any of you have ever shopped on BLACK Friday you know that TVs are always on sale. Well, for Blake that was what he was looking for this year. He finally found one that he wanted at Best Buy for the right price. I don't really see what the big deal is about big TVs I get lost while tiring to watch something. I feel like I have to turn my head to make sure I don't miss anything. Anyways, Blake got his Christmas present early this year. He's been a good BOY!!! Karlee did a great job being Vanna White....don't ya think?!?

2 Attempts at decorating the Xmas Tree

Our 2nd attempt at decorating the tree...We decided to put it in the Family Room so we are close by the warm fireplace on Christmas morning. The girls were such good helpers the bottom of the tree never looked so good. Macy had one special spot that she thought all the ornaments should go. All the ornaments were in one area on the tree. Karlee was asking the hole time " Where should this one go mom, where should this one go dad?" She did a great job. We are looking forward to our first Xmas in our new house. We also can't wait for our special Present that is coming on a plane on Dec. 27th!!!

This was the 1st attempt at decorating the tree. Our colors in this room are purple, green and gold. I wanted it in the front sitting room so it could be seen from outside but then we decided to move the big tree into the Family Room. So we had to take all the ornaments off and make the switch. Then we just put a mini tree in front of the window. It turned out pretty sweet.

I think Macy didn't get one drop of paint on her. She kept her hand on the brush the hole time. I guess art isn't one of her interest's right now. She still did a great JOB!!!

Karlee was a pro at painting. Her teacher at preschool told me that art is her favorite thing to do while she is at school. She must take after her wonderful Auntie Jen and Great Auntie Tina.

They put there art work on there bedroom doors. When daddy got home from work they were so excited to show him what they had created.

Paintin Paper

One of my friends gave me the idea to paint our own gift wrap paper this year for Xmas. Karlee loved getting in the paint and made sure every piece of paper had some paint on it. Macy watched her big sister do most of it she is my clean kid she doesn't like dirty hands. That's my girl!!

This is the only spot on the paper that looked like wrapping paper. GREAT Job Little Chicks!

Hot Chocolate Cow Mix

The cold weather is coming to SC and we aren't very excited about that. We are tiring to make the most of it. Karlee and I decided to make a home made hot chocolate mix today. ( Great Gma Nelson's recipe) While we were pouring all the ingredients in Karlee noticed that on the coffee creamer it had a picture of a cow on it. She said to me..."Mom, we are making a cow mix."....I said " Yea kind of... its hot chocolate mix."... then Karlee said " Oh, we are making Hot Chocolate Cow Mix." I just love the things she comes up with. Kids sure make your days a little more enjoyable.
